Client Overview
Industry: Durable Medical Equipment
Business Model: Regional healthcare provider
Locations: 17 locations grouped across multiple regions
Initial Problem: $10,000 per month in marketing spend with flat ROI
Client Goal: Improve ROI and dominate local search results
This DME provider was investing heavily in SEO and ads, but growth had stalled. Every dollar spent brought back roughly the same dollar in revenue.
The Challenge
The business was marketed as a single entity despite operating across multiple regions. Local search behavior was ignored. Regional intent was flattened.
Spam leads flooded the system. Unqualified inquiries wasted internal time. Rankings existed, but they were fragile and inconsistent.
Marketing activity was present. Strategy was not.
Our Strategy
We rebuilt the digital footprint to match how patients searched locally.
Locations were reorganized into regions. New regional websites were built to support stronger local SEO, clearer messaging, and better operational control.
High-intent actions were prioritized over generic traffic.
Execution
Each region received its own optimized site architecture designed to rank locally. SEO was implemented with a focus on intent, not volume.
Two high-intent funnels were created. One targeted existing patients ready to reorder. The other targeted patients searching for a new provider using a “Switch to Us” message.
Ads drove traffic only to these optimized landing pages, which converted between 5 and 9 percent.
Spam and unqualified leads were eliminated by tightening targeting and restructuring forms.
Results
- Consistent number one or two rankings across regions.
- Approximately 20 percent increase in new patient sign-ups month over month.
- Improved lead quality and reduced internal waste.
- Marketing spend finally produced leverage instead of stagnation.
What Made This Work
Regional SEO matched patient behavior. Ads targeted intent instead of awareness. The system stopped chasing volume and started capturing demand.
The Takeaway
Multi-location healthcare brands do not win with national messaging. They win by owning regions. When SEO mirrors geography and intent, ROI follows.
